However, he’s hopeful for it to get better and that’s something he “obsesses” about every day, confessing to Corey Graves on the After The Bell podcast. He also revealed that he hopes to become a “polarizing” figure like John Cena and Roman Reigns because he thinks the mixed reactions they used to get created an incredible atmosphere. He said that the best part about these reactions is how one group of fans will always try to outdo the other and be as loud as possible, creating a mind-blowing atmosphere. However, it’s seemingly a status only a few can reach and it seems to be reserved for babyfaces who are getting main event pushes but are rejected by fans.
Since Reigns returned in 2019, he has been anything but polarizing. He seems to have finally earned the respect he deserved from the WWE Universe who now cheer him weekly.
